Fady Asly,
ICC Georgia Chairman
Agritechnics Holding
Fady Asly graduated from the American University in Beirut in 1982 with an Agricultural Engineering Degree. Since 1985 he is chairing the Agritechnics Group of companies.

Upon moving to Georgia in 1998, Mr. Asly became President and CEO of Agritechnics Group and Agritechnics Holding, with shares in more than 25 companies registered in Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. Involved in the distribution of food products, agriculture equipment and media, the Group is active in the Caucasus, Central Asia, and the Middle East.

Mr. Asly has served for years as a leader of the business community in Georgia, including as President of the American Chamber of Commerce from 1999 to 2006, Chairman of the Georgian Business Confederation from 2000 to 2006, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Georgian Rural Development Fund in 2005, and Co-Chair of Parliament's Foreign Investment Advisory Board since 2005.


Aleksi Aleksishvili

Founder of PMCG-Georgia

Former high-ranked Georgian government official, Mr. Aleksishvili was the Minister of Finance (2005-2007) and the Minister of Economic Development of Georgia (2004-2005). The country's economic and fiscal policy management has been improved significantly under his strong leadership. Due to economic and structural reforms that were carried out by his ministry, Georgia jumped in the World Bank's rankings and has been nominated as the world's number one reformer in 2006 and 2007.
Mr. Aleksishvili's diverse background serves him well in both public and private sector. At present, Mr. Aleksishvili is a board member of Kala Capital, an investment holding.
Mr. Aleksishvili holds MA in Public Finance and Management from Duke University (Durham, NC, USA) and a Masters degree in International Economic Relations from Tbilisi State University (Georgia).


Zurab Nikvashvili

Zurab Nikvashvili is partner of Tax and Legal Services Department of Ernst & Young Tbilisi responsible for Georgia and Armenia. He possess more than 13 years experience of providing taxation and related services to major international and local clients of various industries operating in Georgia.
Zurab was a founding partner of GC G Audit, a leading local consulting firm in Georgia, which joined Ernst & Young in 2003.
In parallel with professional practice, Zurab continues to serve as a guest lecturer at Business School (ESM) of Free University.
Zurab received PhD in Engineering in 1990, MBA of Tbilisi Business School in 2002 and US CPA in 2005


Irakli Bokuchava

Mr. Bokuchava has been heading Catoni & Co. Georgia thecompany since 2000. The main activity of Catoni Group, established back in 1846 is: ship agency, forwarding, and logistics, trade, inspection.
Catoni& Co. Georgia represents as agent the World Wide Container Line- Hapag-Lloyd to Caucasus having offices in Tbilisi, Poti, Baku, and Yerevan. The company serves as agent to BP in Supsa, Batumi and Poti porst as well.
Mathematician by background, graduated from Tbilisi State University and Steklov Mathematical institute of Moscow, Dr. Irakli Bokuchava worked as a research worker and professor in Tbilisi State and Technical Universities. He has led private businesses in Georgia since 90s.
Actively involved in business organizations have greatly contributed for the benefit of business community, that includes facilitating to attract the investors to Georgia.

Steve Johnson is the proprietor of Prospero's Books and the General Manager of The Hotel Betsy. Prospero's Books and Caliban's Coffee House is the leading English language bookstore in Georgia. Betsy's is an American-owned hotel with particularly elegant Georgian decor and interior, plus it houses a Prospero's Bookstore and Caliban's Coffeeshop.

 


Michael Saunders

Managing Director, Saunders Group - Infrastructure Consultants, Georgia

After several years of academic research in various countries, including New Zealand, Brazil and Europe, Michael has received a Doctorate in Engineering. After arriving to Georgia and realizing the potential of the country and region, with zero investment, he has set up an engineering consultancy that has grown 400% per year in its three years of operations up to 2012. Saunders Group, founded and owned by Dr. Saunders is now investigating further consulting and cooperation opportunities with Georgia's technical universities in the energy and agriculture fields to further expand engineering and technical services and growth for the future.


Nikoloz Mchedlishvili

Mr. Nikoloz Mchedlishvili is Corporate Affairs and Communication's Manager at Japan Tobacco International, Georgia
Mr. Mchedlishvili graduated with honors from Tbilisi State University with Master's degree in Physics and has obtained dual MBA from Grenoble Graduate School of Business and Caucasus School of Business.
His previous working experiences range from lecturing physics at military academy to being head of press service of Prime Minister of Georgia. Besides his nineteen year carrier, Mr. Mchedlishvili could manage to write two books. One book-"Principles of Bendunomics", is about recent economic reforms in Georgia and will be published soon, both in Georgia and in United States. Another book, about police reform in Georgia is under review in Interior Ministry and will be published soon as well.


Matthew Yaquinto

Matthew Yaquinto is a Senior Manager of the Audit Department of the Tbilisi Branch of KPMG CIS Limited.Matthew has over 20 years experience providing assurance and advisory services to companies in many industries, including significant experience in the Financial Services sector. He has worked for clients in Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Russia and the United States.
He is a Certified Public Account and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a graduate of Northwood University, USA.

Mr. Kuchava is one of Georgia's top legal experts in corporate law, corporate governance and crisis management with over 10 years of experience in the field. He has worked with leading private, government and international organizations in Georgia and abroad. Prior to joining Eristavi Law Group, Mr. Kuchava was a legal advisor at the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

Mr. Kuchava is the author of a number of changes and amendments to the Georgian Law of Entrepreneurs and the co-author of the Corporate Governance Code for Commercial Banks in Georgia. Mr. Kuchava is also the Associate Professor in Corporate Law and Corporate Governance at the Caucasus School of Law and the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA).

Zaza Bibilashvili is a managing partner of BGI Legal, Georgia's leading independent full-service law firm, and serves as counsel to some of the largest local and international businesses and non-commercial clients in Georgia and the Caucasus. With over 12 years of experience, Zaza specializes in mergers & acquisitions,

real estate/construction and dispute resolution. Formerly a director of Ernst & Young Legal and GCG Law Office, Zaza graduated from Tbilisi State University, Department of International Law, earning a law degree with honors in 1995. Prior to earning his law degree, Zaza studied international relations at Canisius College of Buffalo, New York, where he received his B.A. Zaza is a founding member of the Georgian Bar Association and a member of its Board as of December 2009. In June 2009 Zaza was appointed to the State Constitutional Commission charged with drafting Georgia's new Constitution. Zaza also serves as a Board Member of JSC Teliani Valley, Georgia's leading wine producer and is a Paul Harris Fellow of the Rotary International.

George Kakabadze began his career handling multinational contracts at SoijuzchumExport, a large chemicals import-export company. From 1993 to 1996, he was Vice-President of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, taking over as Director of the SME Development Agency (SMEDA-Tbilisi) in 1996. Mr. Kakabadze headed the PR department for GPI Holdings Insurance from 2001 to 2005, before returning to the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry as Director General.


Archil Bakuradze

Archil Bakuradze, Deputy Secretary General and Company Secretary of the International Association of Business and Parliament (IABP), contributed towards establishment of the IABP-Georgia and Association's further international expansion which currently operates within 15 national parliaments and the European Parliament.
He is a Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the JSC Micro Finance Organisation "Crystal"; Chairman of the Steering Committee (grant making body) for Civil Society Public Policy Reform Programme, DfID funded initiative implemented by Adam Smith International; a Founder and the Board Member of the UK Georgia Professional Network (UGPN) and the Board Member of the Charity Humanitarian Centre "Abkhazeti" (CHCA).
Mr. Bakuradze received an MBA degree from the Lancaster University Management School through the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office Chevening Scholarship. He is the John Smith fellow and a holder of the International diploma on Humanitarian Assistance. For his work dedicated to the internally displaced people in Georgia Archil Bakuradze was awarded by the Dutch Refugee Foundation (Stichting Vluchteling).
