March 2, 2011 - Parliament Business Council

ICC Georgia became a member of Business Council at Parliament of Georgia. The first official meeting was held on March 2, 2011. The main objective of the Council is facilitating partnership and cooperation between government and private sector. Parliament of Georgia is ready to consider all hurdles impeding businesses and provide assistance to remove them.

The Meeting of the Business Council was chaired by Mr. David Bakradze, Chairman of the Parliament. Open dialogue took place between Parliament committees' delegates and representatives from the business associations. Government representatives showed their readiness to discuss the amendment of the tax code and other vital issues with the representatives of the business community in order to improve the business environment.

As a main member of the Business Council of Parliament of Georgia, ICC will be actively involved in the decision making process with a special emphasis on restoring confidence and increasing investments.
