ICC-Georgia signs a cooperation charter with the Ministry of Finance.

ICC-Georgia and several other business organizations have signed a Cooperation Charter with the Ministry of Finance. The created forum will enable businesses to be more actively involved in policy making and contribute to a systematized dialogue with the Ministry of Finance. Signatories will have the opportunity to regularly exchange information about important business and investment concerns.

ICC-Georgia has collaborated with the Ministry of Finance on several such issues in the past; the Deputy Minister of Finance has actively participated in ICC-Georgia's tax committee hearings. Thanks to this initiative all members of ICC-Georgia will have direct access to the policy makers for a better involvement in the drafting of a business friendly legislation.

ICC-Georgia meeting with parliament
ICC-Georgia, in partnership with two parliamentary committees on European integration and foreign relations, conducted a hearing to discuss the current major political and economic affairs in the country that are of interest to the business community.

The main focus of the was the free trade agreement with the European Union as well as the GSP+ and GSP. Parliament representatives Mr. David Darchiashvili - MP and the Head of Foreign Relationship Committee; Tamar Beruchashvili- Deputy State Minister for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Tamar Kovziridze Adviser to the Primer Minister in Economic Issues
briefed businesses about the current status of negotiations and the implications of the agreements after having received several inquiries and concerns from businesses.

HR Commission Meeting

The ICC-Georgia HR Committee, which is headed by Michael Lelashvili from Brain Source International, in its latest working meeting, had the opportunity to gather together the HR managers of such leading companies as Georgian Glass and Mineral Waters, Sante, Natakhtari, Sheraton Meteckhi Palace, Imedi TV, Multiplex Solutions and others.
