Nikoloz Khundzakishvili joined the Georgian Army in 1995 and served
there until 2007 in various positions including the position of the
Georgian Military Representative to NATO. In 2007-20010 he served in the Georgian Foreign Ministry in
different positions: Ambassador at Large, Chef de Cabinet of the Foreign Minister, Acting Administrative
Director, etc.
From 2010 he is actively involved in the private sector. For years he was the Non-Executive Director and
the Member of the Board of Directors of Georgian Industrial Group (GIG) - one of the largest industrial
groups of Georgia in energy generation, coal mining, logistics, real estate, media, etc. Since 2013 he is the
Corporate Affairs Director of “Efes Brewery in Georgia” (The subsidiary of Anadolu Group of Turkey and
the London Stock Exchange listed multinational beverages company SABMiller). Since 2014 Nikoloz
Khundzakishvili is the Chair of DCFTA Commission in International Chamber of Commerce (ICC)
Georgia. Until now he is the first chairman of DCFTA Consultation Group under the Ministry of Economy
and Sustainable Development, the Group consist of major business associations of Georgia and it acts as a
formal platform of Public Private Dialogue in light of AA/DCFTA.
Nikoloz Khundzakishvili has graduated from the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of the Tbilisi State
University in 1993. He had his military and diplomatic education in Georgia, the UK, the Netherlands,
Romania, Switzerland and the USA. He holds an academic degree of MBA from the Athens Laboratory of
Business Administration (ALBA) - the Graduate Business School.
