Vice President, Petrocas Energy Group

Currently, I serve as a Vice President of Petrocas Energy Group.
My responsibilities include: Marketing, PR, lobbying,
regulation environment of the oil product industry and
transportation.
Petrocas ships oil products in the region, owns terminals at the Black Sea coast of Georgia, retail gas
station network operating under the brand of Gulf, and works with world oil giants like Rosneft,
BP, Total, MabaNaft. Russian Rosneft owns 49 percent in the group, while controlling stake belongs
to Georgian shareholders.
Furthermore, my responsibilities also involve to hold speeches on behalf of Forbes billionaire of
Georgian origin Mr. David Iakobashvili, one of the main shareholders of Petrocas Energy Group
(http://www.forbes.com/profile/david-yakobashvili/).
At ICC Georgia, I was elected twice as a board member, until now I hold position of Treasurer and
Second Vice Chairman of the Board.
During my previous work at Japan Tobacco International, I successfully lobbied interests of the
company and tobacco industry during the engagements with the government of Caucasus countries.
I have drafted position papers for all three markets in Caucasus, excise strategy for Georgia and
communication plans.
Corporate Affairs team has been launched by my initiative, since I left my job at the Government
of Georgia and took the position at JTI Caucasus in 2011. With the support and hard work of
Corporate Affairs team of JTI Caucasus, we have managed to maintain regulatory stability in
Caucasus that resulted in increase of sales in tobacco industry.
My work experience also include work at the government of Georgia in 2010-2011 years as a head
of Press Service of the former PM Nika Gilauri. Additionally, For 12 years, I served as an economic
reporter of Thomson Reuters, the largest news agency worldwide
I believe, that my experience will benefit ICC Georgia, its members, especially when they need
lobbying, support in regulations and negotiations with the governmental officials. I do hope, that
General Assembly will support my candidacy to be re-elected to the board of ICC Georgia.
