First of all, please tell us about your success story, what stages have you gone through, what difficulties have you faced and what stage are you at now?<\/strong><\/p>\nMy \u201csuccess story\u201d I think is a bit premature, and sounds like an accomplished ambitious mission. That I think, I do not own yet. For me, the process, the road toward the goal is rather more important and interesting, where I have the opportunity to constantly develop myself, learn from my mistakes and best practices, share and receive the knowledge and experiences. When the task is accomplished and the goal is reached, I evaluate the results and plan the improvement.<\/p>\n
For now, I am writing my success story together with EVA.<\/p>\n
What was the biggest challenge on your career path, an obstacle that seemed insurmountable at first, but you were able to overcome it?<\/strong><\/p>\nI think all challenges are insurmountable and difficult until you overcome them. Every new challenge is a proof of your constant development, that you do not give up.<\/p>\n
Very often, the most difficult part is at the beginning of your career, when you are lacking the experience, knowledge and self-confidence. However, over time, all such problems and challenges, on the contrary, become a source of new ideas and visions.<\/p>\n
What is your main motivation to keep moving forward?<\/strong><\/p>\nDevelopment of myself and others is my main motivation. Knowledge that I gain and share during each project. People I meet and network with. And most importantly, the result of my work, which affects the success and sustainable development of both the business and each individual associated with it.<\/p>\n
Tell us about your current activities. Introduce us to the EVA. What specific problem is your business solving?<\/strong><\/p>\nEVA is HR consulting company. Supporting organizations and HR professionals to identify the development opportunities and realize them. \u00a0EVA believes that everyone and everything has great potential for improvement.<\/p>\n
Every minute, thousands and more HR decisions are made worldwide that have a huge impact on business success.<\/p>\n
One of the main pillars of HR management is the evaluation of the current and implemented activities in the organization. The results of this assessment are the main input for the future step planning.<\/p>\n
As long as the current processes and people’s activities or their capabilities are evaluated and data analyzed correctly, the probability of making wrong HR decisions is low.<\/p>\n
EVA is working on improving HR processes and strengthening the strategic role of HR in organizations and introducing assessment and analysis tools in accordance with ISO standards.<\/p>\n
Currently, EVA is the official representative of three international companies in Georgia:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- HCM Metrics is the first and only ISO 30414:2018 accredited audit company in the world, offering companies principles, data and evidence-based and results-oriented solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
ISO 30414:2018 Human capital reporting – is the first international standard that allows an organization to clearly understand the real contribution of its human capital to business success.<\/p>\n
\n- Towering Certification Intl. is an ISO 10667 1 \/ 2 certification and auditing company that assesses and trains organizations and individual HR professionals for further licensing or certification.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
ISO 10667-1 \/ 2: 2020 is an international HR quality standard that helps the organization to improve the performance evaluation system, promote the creation of a quality-oriented organizational culture and ensure the sustainable development of the HR system.<\/p>\n
\n- ID37 GmbH is a German company that identifies individual motivations and plans personal and organizational development through a test created based on the results of 15 years of research at the University of Luxembourg.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
ID37 analysis helps us to better explain the causes of thinking and behavior, to become goal-oriented and to form effective teams.<\/p>\n
ID37 shows personality-based diversity in a company. Through it we will understand: how does the individual fit into the role\/job\/team\/company? What is the composition of the team and what makes as a a unit?<\/p>\n
EVA implements the methods, tools and instruments for the improvement of processes in the company and supports the formation of healthy organizational culture with the active involvement of its local and international partners.<\/p>\n
Based on your experience, how would you rate the Georgian market in terms of attracting talent? What challenges do you see in this regard?<\/strong><\/p>\nAs I have already mentioned, the successful activity of the company is directly related to the employees` effective work and contribution. Finding, recruiting, motivating, developing and retaining talent is a huge challenge. This is not a responsibility of one specific department, but can be overcome through the joint efforts and involvement of the entire company.<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, HR is still often seen only as an administrative, supporting function or service provider. Which is a big mistake because it is impossible for a company to plan and implement its strategic goals without taking into account its existing and potential human resources and human capital.<\/p>\n
Additionally, there is a problem that HR professionals often find it difficult to show the company the financial benefits of the work they do. Consequently, they often fail to justify the need for the requested budget. The strategy they create is not evidence-based, which is why it often missmatches the strategic goals of the organization. As a result, there is a limited budget for planned activities or some of them are even rejected. This at the end has a negative impact not only on the efficiency of HR, but also on employee satisfaction and the company’s activities in general.<\/p>\n
Therefore, EVA is actively working with top management on organizational redesign, strengthening the strategic role of HR, introducing assessment, data collection and analysis tools, methods and metrics. EVA supports HRs in their professional development.<\/p>\n
Finally, we will ask you our traditional question, what advice would you give to aspiring professionals and young people who are now taking their first career steps?<\/strong><\/p>\nEveryone has their own individual vision and goals. There is no one perfect recipe for building a successful career. That’s why I recommend what I believe in – everything has a potential of improvement! if we don’t look for errors in the process we follow, the product or service we create, this means we lose the opportunity to optimize them. If we don`t analyses the mistakes, best practice and lessons learned we lose the potential new knowledge.<\/p>\n
Therefore, it is necessary to periodically evaluate and revalue own resources, goals and obtained results and plan the improvement.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
