(5 parameters)<\/p>\n<p>-The economic weight of each country is proportional to the percentage this coun-<br \/>\ntry represents from the Grand Total and from the GDP<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analysis Q4 2023 VS Q1 2024<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Imports and Exports Decline:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Georgia&#8217;s total imports and exports both saw a decline from Q1 2023 to Q1 2024.<br \/>\nImports decreased from 3,555,646 to 3,438,021, while exports dropped from<br \/>\n1,461,351 to 1,325,991. The decrease is observed equally in almost all countries. This<br \/>\noverall reduction suggests a contraction in external trade activities during this<br \/>\nperiod.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Decrease in Money Flow and Foreign Investments:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The total money flow (1,171,421 to 805,983) and foreign investments (496,650 to<br \/>\n201,374) also decreased significantly. This decline indicates a potential reduction in<\/p>\n<p>capital inflows and overall economic activity involving foreign investments in Geor-<br \/>\ngia. The main reason for the decrease in foreing investment inflow is Russia, where<\/p>\n<p>the main decrease occurred.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Increase in Income from Tourism:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Conversely, income from tourism showed an increase from 527,025 to 809,800. This<br \/>\nrise suggests a boost in tourism-related revenue, possibly driven by improved<br \/>\nexternal factors influencing tourist arrivals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overall Index Decline:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The total index, which aggregates these economic indicators, decreased from<\/p>\n<p>7,212,092 to 6,581,169. This decrease reflects a lower aggregate economic depend-<br \/>\nency on foreign transactions and investments in Q1 2024 compared to Q1 2023.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conclusion:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The detailed analysis of Georgia&#8217;s Foreign Dependence Index for Q1 2023 vs. Q1<br \/>\n2024 reveals nuanced economic trends with various trading partners.
