First of all, please share with us the story of your success so far, including the stages and challenges you\u2019ve gone through, and tell us where you are in your career today?<\/b><\/p>\n

My career in marketing and communications has evolved steadily over the years. Working across various agencies and on diverse client projects gave me a deep understanding of the synergy between branding and marketing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Today, I lead the development of marketing and PR strategy at Terabank, where my goal extends beyond brand awareness \u2014 I focus on building meaningful emotional connections with our customers. I aim to ensure that our communication remains modern, consistent, and rooted in real value \u2014 across both digital and traditional media.<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout my professional journey, I\u2019ve worked with brands such as Wendy\u2019s, Dunkin\u2019, McDonald\u2019s, Borjomi, Europebet, Elit Electronics, GPI Holding, and more. Early in my career, even the smallest campaign wins were incredibly motivating. They gave me the courage and drive to take on larger challenges \u2014 whether to shape a brand\u2019s perception, strengthen its identity, or respond creatively to unexpected situations \u2014 such as the unanticipated product shortage during Dunkin\u2019s launch in Georgia. We responded with a simple, timely video that flipped the issue so effectively and positively that many thought it had been part of a planned campaign all along.<\/span><\/p>\n

Of course, there were challenges \u2014 especially in agency settings where client and team perspectives didn\u2019t always align. These moments required me to bridge different viewpoints, guide my team, and ensure we always delivered the best possible outcome. These experiences helped shape me as both a strategist and a manager. Today, I\u2019m at a stage where the experience and knowledge I\u2019ve gained help me achieve more structured, goal-oriented, and meaningful results \u2014 both within my team and across the organization.<\/span><\/p>\n

What do you believe is the key to fostering strong collaboration between different departments, like marketing, design, and digital media?<\/b><\/p>\n

In my experience, the key to strong cross-departmental collaboration can be summed up in two elements: a shared purpose and a co-created vision.<\/span><\/p>\n

A brand succeeds when marketing, design, and digital teams work together to solve problems and speak a common language around outcomes. I formed this perspective during my time at creative agencies, where close synchronization between diverse teams often defined a campaign\u2019s success \u2014 and later refined it in a corporate setting, where collaboration becomes a long-term, structured effort.<\/span><\/p>\n

To sustain effective collaboration, a few principles are essential:<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Mutual professional respect \u2014 everyone\u2019s role is valued, and boundaries between functions are acknowledged;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Open communication \u2014 beyond formal meetings, day-to-day human interaction builds trust and agility;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Equal creative ownership \u2014 ideas are developed collaboratively, not just handed off as tasks.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Most importantly, I believe marketing should not function solely as an executor of communication, but as a coordinator of approaches \u2014 aligning media strategy, customer experience, and brand language. That\u2019s what builds a culture of true collaboration, not just a sequence of deliverables.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Tell us more about your work at Terabank. What strategies do you use to ensure the brand resonates with both current customers and potential new clients?<\/b><\/p>\n

    At Terabank I lead the Marketing and Public Relations department and ensure that the brand remains modern, clear, and customer-focused.<\/span><\/p>\n

    One of our key initiatives was updating the brand platform to reflect current market expectations and align with the bank\u2019s evolving values and voice. This renewed platform now serves as the foundation for all communication channels \u2014 whether digital, ATL, BTL, or internal.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Strategically, we aim to be consistent and human-centered. Beyond raising brand awareness, our goal is to build a deeper emotional connection with our audience \u2014 positioning Terabank as a reliable, supportive, and transparent brand. To achieve this, we rely on data-driven tools such as segmentation and personalized communication, alongside an honest and approachable tone across our visual and verbal messaging.<\/span><\/p>\n

    We also place strong emphasis on team dynamics. Through effective task delegation and a motivating work environment, we foster both operational efficiency and creative thinking. As a leader, I\u2019m committed to giving team members the space to express ideas and take initiative \u2014 a culture that directly enhances the brand\u2019s overall impact.<\/span><\/p>\n

    How has your experience launching new digital products shaped your professional growth, and where do you see digital marketing heading in the future?<\/b><\/p>\n

    Working on digital products has been one of the most valuable experiences in my professional journey.<\/span><\/p>\n

    I\u2019ve been actively involved in the digital space since 2013, back when social media was just beginning to gain traction in the Georgian business landscape \u2014 at the time, from the agency side. Today, I apply that experience to developing digital channels at Terabank.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Participating in projects like the redesign of our website, internet banking, and mobile banking platforms has given me a deeper, management-level perspective on product development \u2014 not only from a technical standpoint, but also through the lens of user experience. An especially exciting challenge has been the launch of saasargeblo.ge, a platform created to support and promote Georgian SaaS products. I\u2019m actively involved in both its strategic and communication direction, and it\u2019s clear there\u2019s growing demand for modern digital tools.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Digital marketing today is fast-paced, ever-evolving, and highly diverse. Looking ahead, it will become even more integrated with technology, data analytics, and a deep understanding of consumer behavior. Tools like AI, automation, and next-gen platforms are enabling us to be faster, more precise, and highly personalized. In my view, marketing that doesn\u2019t embrace digital innovation will soon struggle to stay relevant.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Finally, to wrap things up, what advice would you give to the next generation of aspiring professionals and young people taking the first steps in their career?<\/b><\/p>\n

    The most valuable advice I can offer is this \u2014 think of your skills as a developing, individual marketing product.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Creativity is not just an inborn talent; it\u2019s a skill that anyone can cultivate \u2014 just like consistency and a strong work ethic, which ultimately build trust and drive professional growth.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Marketing is a highly competitive field, especially with the rapid evolution of technology and the rise of artificial intelligence. That\u2019s why your most sustainable advantage lies in your unique way of thinking, your ability to generate strategically sound ideas, and the way you deliver value to others.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Study the industry \u2014 not just locally, but globally. And don\u2019t be afraid of new challenges. Often, the greatest growth happens in moments when you feel the least prepared.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>
