The International Chamber of Commerce condemns in the strongest terms the assassination attempt against Mr. Itsik Moshe, President of the Israel-Georgia Chamber of Business, a member in high standing of ICC Georgia.

“Mr. Moshe has strived for years towards the betterment of the business and investment climates in Georgia, and towards the improvement of the living standards of the Georgian people; he is a highly respected member of the business community and a great philanthropist, this assassination attempt is an assassination attempt against every caring business person in Georgia, and against the stability of our country” said Fady Asly, Chairman of the Board.

The International Chamber of Commerce rejects any kind of acts of terrorism, and expresses its gratitude to the Georgian law enforcement bodies for thwarting the assassination attempt.

The International Chamber of Commerce is the largest business organization in the world that includes over 46 million businesses and 12,000 chambers of commerce. ICC consults regularly at the global level with the G7, G20, the World Bank, WTO, WCO and the UN.
