Thank you for your time. First of all, please, tell us about your success story, as we know you are the Head of Communications at ISET and ISET Policy Institute. What stages did you go through, what difficulties did you face and what stage are you at now?

In the pages of my childhood notebook, among other scribbles, I penned a sentence that I liked a lot: “Do what you love, love what you do.” Back then, I never imagined it would define my entire career.

I’m heading communications At ISET and ISET Policy Institute and it means daily interaction with ISET students. This incredible generation gives me immense motivation with their energy and fresh perspectives. Additionally, at the ISET Policy Institute, I have the privilege of working with the leading economists in the country.

Therefore, I consider myself a lucky person, as not everyone gets to enjoy their work daily. Fortunately, I do what I love.

What was the biggest challenge on your career path, an obstacle that seemed insurmountable at first, but you were able to overcome?

The most significant challenge in my career is the one we face today. Current political unrest that jeopardizes Georgia’s European integration and pressures civil society, sometimes appears even insurmountable. This political turmoil impacts not only my career but also the future of every citizen of this country. Nonetheless, I remain hopeful that Georgia will realign with its European aspirations, and we will overcome each obstacle on our path to European integration.

What’s One Thing Every Woman Should Know About Being Successful in Her Career?

Success is not just about climbing the corporate ladder or achieving a certain title or salary. For me true success lies in finding fulfillment and joy in what you do every day. If you wake up dreading going to work, it’s a sign that something needs to change. Don’t be afraid to seek new opportunities or make changes in your career path until you find something that brings you happiness and satisfaction daily.

Finally, let’s wrap up with the traditional question, What advice would you give to the next generation of female leaders?

I’m a fan of the young generation—I truly believe in their abilities and potential. They inspire me with their fearlessness in self-expression, their love for trying new things, experimenting, exploring different paths, and their boundless curiosity. For anyone just starting their career, my advice is straightforward: trust in the instincts and skills you already have.
