First of all, please share with us the story of your success so far, including the stages and challenges you’ve gone through, and tell us where you are in your career today?

Remembering the first steps of my career is particularly meaningful for me. At that time, opportunities in the local market were quite limited. However, I was fortunate—or perhaps it was a conscious choice—because I began my professional journey in a field that was not directly related to my academic background. Still, I believed I would be able to use my skills effectively, and I consider that belief to have been justified.

Looking back from today’s perspective, I clearly realize that the banking sector, where I started my professional path, was at that time a rapidly changing and dynamically developing field. I was given the opportunity to work with organizations that had international experience and with highly qualified professionals, which created a strong foundation not only for the development of my professional competencies, but also for my communication and relationship-management skills.

I believe that effective communication skills are one of the key foundations of becoming a professional, and they play a significant role in career development.

After gaining approximately 20 years of professional experience in the banking sector, I received an offer from the development company “BLOX Group,” which I accepted. Today, I can say with confidence that it was a timely and correct decision. This stage has been filled with new opportunities and professional challenges for me. I am proud to be a member of BLOX Group and to work in a field that truly interests me and allows me to use my experience as effectively as possible.

Naturally, there were certain difficulties along my professional path, but I would rather call them challenges. Overcoming each of them was a step toward growth and self-improvement. I believe that an environment free of difficulties does not foster progress, because development occurs precisely through responding to challenges.

Today, I know exactly that I am where I should be, in an environment where I have people’s trust and the opportunity to create real value. I am involved in work that aligns with my interests and holds significant value for the business community.

I feel that many opportunities still lie ahead, and achieving them requires remaining in a constant process of growth and development.

Based on your experience, what key financial metrics do you focus on to measure company performance?

When evaluating a business, the direction and perspective of the analysis are of decisive importance. There are standard metrics used to assess profitability, liquidity, operational efficiency, and stability. However, when analyzing a specific business, it is essential to take into account its unique characteristics and industry-specific features.

In this process, particular importance is placed on a manager’s ability to accurately assess the interests and perspectives of stakeholders and beneficiaries. Accordingly, it is necessary to identify precisely those indicators that best reflect their expectations and needs. This often requires the development of new metrics and reporting frameworks, which I personally find to be a particularly engaging and creative process.

At the same time, I never analyze metrics in isolation. I focus on trends, compare results against industry benchmarks, and directly link performance indicators to the company’s strategic objectives.

Tell us more about your current work as a CFO. Which personal skills have been most critical in successfully managing financial operations across your organizations?

As a Chief Financial Officer, I am responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s overall financial strategy. My core responsibilities include financial planning and budgeting, cash flow management, the organization and oversight of financial reporting, investment analysis, risk management, and the effective management of relationships with banks, investors, and key partners. I actively participate in the strategic decision-making process through financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.

One of the most important qualities in working with finance is attention to detail. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, combined with effective communication with stakeholders, are essential for building trust with shareholders, banks, auditors, and team members. For a dynamic and rapidly growing company such as the development company BLOX Group, the ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently is particularly critical.

These capabilities, together with my professional experience, enable me to make a meaningful contribution to improving the financial stability, transparency, and long-term efficiency of the organizations I work with.

Finally, to wrap things up, what advice would you give to the next generation of aspiring professionals and young people taking their first steps in their career?

One of the most important pieces of advice I would offer to early-career professionals is the importance of clearly defining their goals. Since every individual is unique and possesses distinct strengths and capabilities, it is essential to choose a field of activity and a work environment where career development can be thoughtfully planned and successfully pursued. For this reason, objectively assessing one’s own abilities and personal qualities is, in my view, a decisive factor.

Once we have analyzed our resources and capabilities, it is crucial to commit to continuous development. Challenges and difficulties should be perceived as opportunities for growth rather than obstacles. Avoiding them only slows personal and professional progress. At the same time, the willingness to take responsibility and to remain proactive is one of the key prerequisites for success.

It is also important to recognize that mistakes are inevitable. What truly matters is acknowledging them, asking questions, and focusing on improvement. The practice of questioning and correcting mistakes strengthens the process of career advancement.

Every individual has their own path to success and their own “formula.” What matters most is loving the work we do and the people for whom we do it.

პირველ რიგში, გთხოვთ, გაგვიზიაროთ თქვენი წარმატების ისტორია, რა ეტაპებსა და სირთულეებს მოიცავს ეს გზა და რა ეტაპზე იმყოფებით ახლა პროფესიულ ცხოვრებაში? 

ჩემთვის განსაკუთრებით ამაღელვებელია ჩემი კარიერის პირველი ნაბიჯების გახსენება. იმ დროისთვის ადგილობრივ ბაზარზე შესაძლებლობები  საკმაოდ შეზღუდული იყო. თუმცა, გამიმართლა- ან შესაძლოა ეს ჩემი გააზრებული არჩევანიც იყო-  რადგან საქმიანობა დავიწყე  იმ სფეროში, რომელიც პირდაპირ კავშირში არ იყო ჩემს აკადემიურ განათლებასთან.  თუმცა მჯეროდა საკუთარი უნარების ეფექტურად გამოყენებას შევძლებდი და ვთვლი რომ გამომივიდა.

რა თქმა უნდა, ჩემს პროფესიულ გზაზე იყო გარკვეული სირთულეები, თუმცა მათ უფრო გამოწვევებს დავარქმევდი. თითოეული მათგანის დაძლევა ჩემთვის განვითარებისკენ და სრულყოფისკენ გადადგმული ნაბიჯი იყო. ვფიქრობ, რომ სირთულეებისგან თავისუფალი გარემო არ უწყობს ხელს პროგრესს, რადგან განვითარება სწორედ გამოწვევებზე რეაგირების პროცესში ხდება.

დღეს ზუსტად ვიცი, რომ ვარ იქ, სადაც უნდა ვიყო, გარემოში სადაც მაქვს ადამიანების ნდობა და შესაძლებლობა, რეალური ღირებულება შევქმნა. ვაკეთებ საქმეს, რომელიც მომწონს და  ზოგადად ბიზნესისთვის მნიშვნელოვანია. 

ვგრძნობ, რომ წინ კიდევ ბევრი შესაძლებლობაა და ამისთვის აუცილებელია მუდმივად ვიყო ზრდისა და განვითარების პროცესში.

თქვენი გამოცდილებით, რომელი ძირითად ფინანსურ მეტრიკებს იყენებთ კომპანიის შედეგების ეფექტურობის შეფასებისთვის? 

ბიზნესის შეფასებისას გადამწყვეტი მნიშვნელობა აქვს იმას, თუ რა მიმართულებით ვახორციელებთ ანალიზს. არსებობს სტანდარტული მეტრიკები, რომლებიც გამოიყენება მომგებიანობის, ლიკვიდობის, ბიზნესის ეფექტიანობისა და სტაბილურობის შესაფასებლად. თუმცა კონკრეტული საქმიანობის ანალიზისას აუცილებელია მისი სპეციფიკისა და ინდივიდუალური მახასიათებლების გათვალისწინება.

ამ პროცესში განსაკუთრებული მნიშვნელობა ენიჭება მენეჯერის უნარს, სწორად შეაფასოს დაინტერესებული მხარეების, ბენეფიციარების ინტერესები და ხედვები. შესაბამისად, უნდა იდენტიფიცირდეს ზუსტად ის ინდიკატორები, რომლებიც მათ მოლოდინებსა და საჭიროებებს პასუხობს. ხშირად ჩნდება საჭიროება ახალი მეტრიკებისა და ანგარიშგების ფორმირების, რაც ჩემთვის პირადად განსაკუთრებით საინტერესო და შემოქმედებითი პროცესია.

გვიამბეთ მეტი თქვენი მიმდინარე საქმიანობის შესახებ ფინანსური დირექტორის როლში. რა სახის პერსონალურმა უნარებმა იქონია განსაკუთრებული მნიშვნელობა თქვენი ორგანიზაციების ფინანსური ოპერაციების წარმატებით წარმართვაში? 

როგორც ფინანსური დირექტორი, პასუხისმგებელი ვარ კომპანიის საერთო ფინანსური სტრატეგიის შემუშავებასა და განხორციელებაზე. ჩემი ძირითადი მოვალეობები მოიცავს, ფინანსურ დაგეგმვასა და ბიუჯეტირებას, ფულადი ნაკადების მართვას, ფინანსური ანგარიშგების ორგანიზებასა და წარმართვას, საინვესტიციო ანალიზს, რისკების მართვას, ბანკებთან, ინვესტორებთან და მთავარ პარტნიორებთან ურთიერთობების ეფექტიან მართვას. აქტიურად ვმონაწილეობ სტრატეგიული გადაწყვეტილებების მიღების პროცესში ფინანსური მოდელირების, პროგნოზებისა და სცენარიული ანალიზის საფუძველზე.

ფინანსებთან მუშაობის პროცესში ერთ-ერთი ყველაზე მნიშვნელოვანი თვისებაა დეტალებზე ორიენტირება. აუცილებელია ანალიტიკური და კრიტიკული აზროვნება, დაინტერესებულ მხარეებთან სწორი კომუნიკაციის უნარები, რაც ხელს უწყობს ნდობის ჩამოყალიბებას აქციონერებთან, ბანკებთან, აუდიტორებთან და გუნდის წევრებთან. ისეთი დინამიკური და სწრაფად მზარდი კომპანიისთვის, როგორიცაა დეველოპერული კომპანია „ბლოქსი ჯგუფი“ პრობლემების სწრაფად და ეფექტიანად გადაჭრის უნარი განსაკუთრებით მნიშვნელოვანია. 

ეს სწორედ ის უნარებია რაც ჩემს პროფესიულ გამოცდილებასთან ერთად  მაძლევს შესაძლებლობას მნიშვნელოვნად შევუწყო ხელი იმ ორგანიზაციების ფინანსური სტაბილურობის, გამჭვირვალობისა და გრძელვადიანი ეფექტიანობის გაუმჯობესებას, რომლებთანაც ვთანამშრომლობ.

და ბოლოს, შემოვიფარგლებით ტრადიციული კითხვით, რას ურჩევდით იმ პროფესიონალებსა და ახალგაზრდებს, რომლებიც ახლა იწყებენ პირველი კარიერული ნაბიჯების გადადგმას? 

ერთ-ერთ უმნიშვნელოვანეს რჩევად დამწყები სპეციალისტებისთვის მიმაჩნია მიზნის სწორად  განსაზღვრა. გამომდინარე იქიდან, რომ თითოეული ადამიანი ინდივიდუალურია და ფლობს საკუთარ უნიკალურ შესაძლებლობებს, უნდა აირჩიოს ის საქმიანობის სფერო და სამუშაო გარემო, სადაც კარიერულ განვითარებას სწორად დაგეგმავს და განავითარებს. ამიტომ, ჩემი აზრით, გადამწყვეტია საკუთარი შესაძლებლობებისა და პიროვნული თვისებების ობიექტურად შეფასება.

მას შემდეგ, რაც გავაანალიზებთ საკუთარ რესურსებსა და შესაძლებლობებს, ვიწყებთ გავითარებაზე მუდმივად ზრუნვას. სირთულე ან პრობლემა გამოწვევად და ზრდის შესაძლებლობად უნდა აღვიქვათ. მისგან თავის არიდება განვითარების შეფერხებას იწვევს. ამასთანავე, პასუხისმგებლობის საკუთარ თავზე აღების უნარი და მუდმივი მოქმედებისკენ სწრაფვა წარმატების ერთ-ერთი მთავარი წინაპირობაა.

თითოეულ ადამიანს წარმატების საკუთარი გზა და „საიდუმლო“ აქვს. მთავარია გვიყვარდეს საქმე, რომელსაც ვაკეთებთ და ადამიანები, ვისთვისაც ამას ვაკეთებთ.
