Interview with Eka Bukhrashvili

First of all, I would like to ask you to briefly tell your success story, where does it begin?

My fascination with the medical field started deep in my childhood when I first saw my mother wearing a white medical coat. I put it on and after that all my games were dedicated to the so-called dolls which I treated as “patients”. It was from this age that I dreamed of becoming a real doctor and getting help for real patients.

I never thought about another profession and I knew exactly who I wanted to be and what I would do, although I couldn’t analyze how much work and long-term study and education I had to deal with.

The road turned out to be really difficult. There was poverty and lack of funds, which is why I had to work in various jobs while studying and pay for my studies with the money I earned. There were many sleepless nights when I was busy studying.

After that, I already specialized in 17 different clinics, both in Tbilisi and in the regions, without days off. Today, the branches of “Eka Bukhrashvili Dental and Aesthetics Center” are the result of this tireless work.

What stage are you at now and what are your plans?

Today, we already have 2 branches, which I lead and at the same time I work as a practicing doctor – orthodontist and injectionist.

This also requires a lot of work and energy, I think my idealism helps me a lot – The desire to do everything perfectly, it is dictated by the great sense of responsibility with which I approach each patient and case.

We have big plans ahead. We are currently in the stage of creating a training center and developing training programs.

Dentistry, aesthetics and management, these are the fields that are rapidly developing today and require constant development and growth, which we are constantly engaged in.

Which achievement would you single out from your career history?

Setting a goal and striving for it is unfortunately not a static situation. For this, it was necessary to develop new skills.

For example, “how to get up and learn to walk again, after falling”, “Learn to believe in yourself, and there is nothing more motivating than when someone believes in you, especially if this person is you.” To break the stereotype in the society that management and leadership have no gender, etc.

It is actually putting yourself in front of new challenges without which you cannot grow.

It was these skills that helped me realize my goal and establish my own dental and aesthetic center, and we still maintain the quality.

What would you advise young people who are just starting their careers?

I would recommend finding one’s own self, one’s own desires and aspirations, which then implies choosing the path and doing the work in which one puts one’s soul and heart. Doing the work that you want is definitely appreciated.

A clear goal, a clear definition of where you are going.

Believing in yourself that whatever you do will definitely work out for you.

პირველ რიგში, მინდა გთხოვოთ, მოკლედ მოგვიყვეთ თქვენი წარმატების ისტორია საიდან იწყება?

სამედიცინო სფეროს მიმართ ხიბლი გამიჩნდა ღრმა ბავშვობაში, როცა პირველად დავინახე დედას სამედიცინო თეთრი ხალათი. ჩავიცვი და მას შემდგომ ჩემი ყველა თამაში ეძღვნებოდა თოჯინებზე ჩატარებულ  ე.წ. „პაციენტების“ მკურნალობას. სწორედ ამ ასაკიდან მექცა ოცნებად გავმხდარიყავი ნამდვილი ექიმი და ნამდვილი პაციენტებისათვის აღმომეჩინა დახმარება.

არასოდეს მიფიქრია სხვა პროფესიაზე და ზუსტად ვიცოდი ვინ მინდოდა ვყოფილიყავი და რას გავაკეთებდი, თუმცა მაშინ ვერ ვაანალიზებდი, რამხელა შრომასთან და ხანგრძლივ სწავლა-განათლებასთან მიწევდა დამეგობრება.

გზა ნამდვილად რთული აღმოჩნდა. იყო გაჭირვება და უსახსრობა, რის გამოც სწავლის პარალელურად მიწევდა სხვადასხვა სამსახურებში მუშაობა და გამომუშავებული თანხით სწავლის საფასურის უზრუნველყოფა. იყო ბევრი უძილო ღამეებიც, როდესაც სწავლაში მათენდებოდა.

შემდგომ უკვე სპეციალიზაციით ვმუშაობდი 17-ამდე სხვადასხვა კლინიკაში, როგორც თბილისში, ასევე რეგიონებში, დასვენების დღეების გარეშე. დღეს რომ არსებობს“ ეკა ბუხრაშვილის დენტალ და ესთეტიკის ცენტრი“-ს ფილიალები, ამ დაუღალავი შრომის ნაყოფია.

რა ეტაპზე იმყოფებით ამჟამად და რა არის თქვენი გეგმები?

დღესდღეისობით უკვე გვაქვს 2 ფილიალი, რომელსაც ვხელმძღვანელობ და ამავდროულად ვმუშაობ, როგორც პრაქტიკოსი ექიმი -ორთოდონტი და ინექციონისტი.

ეს ყოველივე მოითხოვს ასევე დიდ შრომას და ენერგიას, ვფიქრობ ძალიან მეხმარება ჩემი იდეალიზმი – სურვილი რასაც ვაკეთებ ყველაფერი საუკეთესოდ გამოვიდეს, ეს  უდიდესი პასუხისმგებლობის გრძნობით არს ნაკარნახევი, რომლითაც ვეკიდები თითოეულ პაციენტს და საქმეს.

წინ დიდი გეგმები გვაქვს. ამჟამად ვიმყოფებით სასწავლო ცენტრის შექმნისა და გადამზადების პროგრამების შემუშავების ეტაპზე.

სტომატოლოგია, ესთეტიკა და მენეჯმენტი, ეს გახლავთ ის სფეროები, რომლებიც სწრაფად ვითარდება დღეს და მუდმივად მოითხოვს ფეხის  აწყობას და ზრდა-განვითარებას, რითიც მუდმივად ვართ დაკავებული.

რომელ მიღწევას გამოარჩევდით თქვენი კარიერული ისტორიიდან?

მიზნის დასახვა და მისკენ სწრაფვა, სამწუხაროდ არ არის სტატიკური მდგომარეობა. ამისათვის საჭირო აღმოჩნდა ახალი უნარების გამომუშავება.

მაგალითად „თუ როგორ ადგე და ისწავლო თავიდან სიარული, დაცემის შემდგომ“, „ისწავლო შენი თავის რწმენა და ამაზე დიდი მოტივატორი არაფერია, როცა ვიღაცას შენი სჯერა და მითუმეტეს თუ კიდევ ეს „თავად ხარ“. დაამსხვრიო საზოგადოებაში სტერეოტიპი, რომ მმართველობას   და ლიდერობას  სქესი არ აქვს და ა.შ.

ეს ფაქტობრივად საკუთარი თავის დაყენებაა ახალი გამოწვევების წინაშე, რის გარეშეც ვერ გაიზრდები.

სწორედ ეს უნარები დამეხმარა მიზნის განხორციელებაში და დავაფუძნე საკუთარი სტომატოლოგიისა და ესთეტიკის ცენტრი და დღემდე ვინარჩუნებთ ხარისხს.

რას ურჩევდით ახალგაზრდებს, რომლებიც ეხლა იწყებენ კარიერას?

ვურჩევდი საკუთარი თავის, საკუთარი სურვილებისა და მისწრაფებების პოვნას, რომელიც შემდგომ უკვე გულისხმობს იმ გზის არჩევას და იმ საქმის კეთებას, რომელშიც სულსა და გულს ჩადებენ. იმ საქმის კეთება კი რაც შინაგანად გინდა აუცილებლად ფასდება.
