First, please tell us about your success story, we know you are a Multi-property Director of Sales and Marketing at Marriott Tbilisi, Courtyard Tbilisi, and Moxy Tbilisi. What stages did you go through, what difficulties did you face and what stage are you at now?

My journey commences with the unwavering support of my parents, who made significant sacrifices to invest in my education—a cornerstone of my development.

While pursuing my studies at the Faculty of Finance, Caucasus University, an opportunity presented itself at the Courtyard Tbilisi during a job fair. This marked the inception of my professional career as a banqueting staff member. Through dedication and perseverance, I ascended to the role of assistant event manager, subsequently transitioning to various sales positions, thus expanding my skill set and expertise.

Throughout my career, there have been several individuals whose guidance, support, and mentorship have played a pivotal role in my professional growth, advancement, and development. I am deeply grateful for their contributions and profoundly value the trust they have placed in me.

At a relatively young age, I assumed a management role, encountering initial challenges rooted in perceptions surrounding my youth and position. Over time, these perceptions gradually dissipated. Presently, I find myself in an intriguing position where the primary challenge lies in effectively balancing work commitments with personal time, a challenge that remains fluid and adaptable.

What was the biggest challenge on your career path, an obstacle that seemed impossible at first, but you were able to overcome?

To be candid, I have no recollection of encountering such circumstances. While it may seem cliché, my dedication to my career imbues every challenge or obstacle with added intrigue, as each contributes to the journey toward achieving my goals.

What is your main motivation to keep moving forward?

I believe that our motivations evolve at different stages of life. There was a time when acquiring my car served as my primary motivation. However, my current focus revolves around being a role model mother to my children and cultivating a life filled with joy and inspiration for them.

Finally, let’s wrap up with the traditional question, what would you advise aspiring professionals and young people who are now taking their first career steps?

I would advise individuals to continuously seek opportunities to learn and grow at every stage of their journey. If they find themselves drawn to a different direction or field at any point in their career, I encourage them not to hesitate to take a step back and start anew. Embracing change and pursuing new avenues of interest can lead to greater fulfillment and success in the long run. I would also strongly advise individuals not to overlook the importance of expressing gratitude and appreciation for the trust bestowed upon them. Saying thank you and acknowledging the confidence others have placed in them is essential for fostering positive relationships and maintaining professional rapport.

მმართველ პოზიციაზე საკმაოდ ახალგაზრდა ასაკში აღმოვჩნდი და ალბათ მთავარი დაბრკოლება მაშინ ასაკისა და პოზიციის გამო რატომღაც ადამიანების აღქმა იყო, რომლებიც თავიდან თითქოს გამოუცდელად აღმიქვამდნენ. თუმცა ეს დროთა განმავლობაში გაქრა. ამ ეტაპზე ვარ საკმაოდ საინტერესო პოზიციაზე, რომელშიც მთავარ გამოწვევად სამუშაო და პირადი დროის დაბალანსება მიმაჩნია, თუმცა ესეც დარეგულირებადია.

რა იყო ყველაზე დიდი გამოწვევა თქვენს კარიერულ გზაზე, დაბრკოლება, რომელიც თავიდან გადაულახავი გეჩვენებოდათ, მაგრამ შეძელით მისი გადალახვა?

მართალი რომ გითხრათ ასეთი რამ არ მახსენდება. შეიძლება ბანალურად ჟღერს, მაგრამ კარიერისტი ადამიანი ვარ, შესაბამისად ყველა გამოწვევა ან დაბრკოლება ინტერესს სძენდა მიზნის მიღწევის პროცესს.

რა არის თქვენი მთავარი მოტივაცია წინსვლის გასაგრძელებლად?

ვფიქრობ ცხოვრების სხვადასხვა ეტაპზე, სხვადასხვა სახის მოტივაცია გვამოძრავებს. იყო დრო ჩემი საკუთარი მანქანა მინდოდა და ეს იყო ჩემი მოტივაცია. ამჟამად ჩემი მთავარი მოტივაცია არის ჩემი შვილების თვალში მისაბაძი დედა ვიყო და მათთვის ლაღი და შთაგონებით სავსე ცხოვრება შევქმნა.

და ბოლოს, შემოვიფარგლებით ტრადიციული კითხვით, რას ურჩევდით დამწყებ პროფესიონალებსა და ახალგაზრდებს, რომლებიც ახლა დგამენ პირველ კარიერულ ნაბიჯებს?

ალბათ ვურჩევდი ყველა ეტაპზე ეცადონ რამე ახალი ისწავლონ და თუ კარიერის რაიმე საფეხურზე გადაწყვეტენ, რომ სხვა მიმართულება ან სფერო აინტერესებთ, არ შეეშინდეთ უკან ნაბიჯის გადადგმის და თავიდან დაწყების. ასევე აუცილებლად ვურჩევდი, რომ არ დაავიწყდეთ მადლობის თქმა და მათ მიმართ გამოჩენილი ნდობის დაფასება.
