We happily inform you about the appointment of the Chair of Intellectual Property of ICC Georgia, Mr. Kakha Sharabidze, a founding partner of BLB, a co-author of Georgian copyright law that was part of new Civil Code of Georgia adopted in 1997. He was teaching IP as lecturer at law faculty of Tbilisi State University for 5 years.

“I intend to organize various events for the members that would have educational and informative nature. I also would try to understand problems and difficulties that members of ICC are experiencing in enforcing IP rights in Georgia. As a result, we can try to identify defects of law and practice in IP in order to address them in due course.”
