ICC Georgia held a Press Conference regarding the developments around TBC Bank on February 18,2019.

ICC Georgia asks the government to stop immediately its attacks on TBC Bank and on its founders; The Chairman also calls on the Governor of the National Bank Koba Gvenetadze to resist government pressure in order to preserve the independence of the Institution he has been entrusted to lead. Otherwise ICC would encourage him to resign in order to preserve his own reputation as a man of integrity.
On the ground of the TBC episode and many other similar problems that have happened recently, ICC is very concerned about the rapid deterioration of the business and investment climate in the country and requests the government to stop once and for all their thuggish approach to businesses.

ICC is engaged in active talks with various local and international stakeholders to put an end to this injustice.
